Hyakushiki Progress Report:
This kit was really limited in articulation, so I carved out some of the area at the top of the pvc polycap and the
plastic at the crotch of the model. Problem one solved.This added a lot more mobility to the area.
Next, I raised the polycap for the ankle joint a few millimeters and used some plastic sheet styrene as a support system.
Then I filled in the gaps using MoriMori**. First time using MoriMori, but I'm satisfied with the results and it should look
like a natural part of the kit once the paint as been applied.
Hyakushiki Progress Report:
Mods: Minor modification to the vents on the skirt armor-hollowed out via pin vise.
Will use HY2M MG Hyakushiki LED head and stock head. Still soaking the HY2M in 409 bath.
I may yet apply add'l modifications- we'll see. basic OOB feel
Color Scheme: Non-traditional, yet still retaining the basic colors. Yellow, blue and perhaps some wine red.
Gunze Sanyou colors.
Finishing material: Mr Surfacer, Tamiya putty. Currently in the putty stages, then sanding and general finishing.
